Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 September 2026
This policy explains, in plain language, what information Attendence handles and how it is used to provide account access and attendance-management features.
1. Information we handle
- Account information: email address, display name, username, account identifiers, and sign-in information managed through the authentication provider.
- Attendance information: attendance entries, schedules, holidays, sessions, reminders, device labels, and related records entered by you or your organization.
- Local device information: account and attendance identifiers stored in your browser so the service can keep you signed in and connect you to the correct workspace.
- Integration information: details required when you choose to use the API, Google sign-in, calendars, or compatible hardware.
2. How information is used
Information is used to authenticate accounts, store and display attendance records, support software and API features, maintain the service, prevent misuse, and respond to support or account requests. It is not intended to be used for unrelated advertising.
3. Storage and sharing
Attendence uses service providers, including Google Firebase, for authentication and cloud data storage. Information may be processed by those providers only as needed to operate the service. We do not sell attendance or account information.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the service, or during a legitimate transfer of the service with appropriate safeguards.
4. Retention and deletion
Information is kept while an account or workspace is active and for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or protect the platform. Account administrators may also control records created within their workspace.
5. Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your account, subject to applicable law and any organization that manages the relevant attendance records. You may stop using the service and request account closure through the support channel provided with your account or deployment.
6. Organization-managed records
If a school, employer, team, or other organization uses Attendence, that organization is responsible for having appropriate authority to enter and manage information about its members. Questions about those records should first be directed to the relevant organization administrator.
7. Security
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should keep login credentials private and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the service, its integrations, or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top of this page will show the latest revision.
9. Contact
For privacy questions or account requests, use the support channel supplied with your Attendence account or contact the administrator responsible for your organization’s deployment.
